Jane started her accounting work under the tutelage of her father, the accomplished John Byron, a Chartered Accountant for over 50 years and managing partner in a major Sydney Accounting firm John M Byron and Co. Chartered Accountants. She was trained as not just his protégé but also his successor; that she could take over his retirement list of clients as he became less able.

When her father died in January 2014, Jane moved into her new offices in Pennant Hills and took on staff to begin to meet the demands of her own sole-trader practice but also her father’s client list. She converted her business structure into a private company and took on SMSF compliance as well her tax and bookkeeping work. Jane is a highly qualified and experienced in Taxation. She is a Certified Tax Agent, a member of the Tax Institute, a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and certified SMSF Advisor. Jane is also a skilled and experienced advisor and Gold Member in the Xero Partner Program. She is highly respected amongst her peers for her tax advice and technological acumen to create better online business solutions for her ever-growing client list. Every year Jane is adding 30-40 new clients to her list simply by ‘word of mouth’.

Jane also donates a portion of her time and expertise to not-for-profits and charities including the Monastery at Stroud, the Rovers, Christian Community Aid, Eastwood and various religious Trusts and other entities. Jane’s out of office interests include singing, being a member of the Anglican Church, playing the harp, and she has a passion for her two little dogs.
